♡ PREPARING YOUR ORDER:

Dinner Party is a solo passion project where we work hard to ensure your custom order meets all criteria. That said, it generally takes 3-4 business days to create, prepare, and package your order. Larger orders may take up to 5 business days to prepare. An e-mail notification will be sent once the package is in transit, which can range anywhere from 3-5 business days for domestic deliveries, and 5-10 business days for international. 

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 6:00pm MST. This means that daily order cutoffs are 6pm, and we're off on weekends! 

♡ BROKEN OR DAMAGED ITEMS:

If you've received an order containing a damaged product, please send us an e-mail including your order number, and a photo of the affected item. We do our best to package your goods safe and securely, but you never know when a package gets handled a bit too rough en route to it's destination. If an item is damaged upon transportation, we'll send out a replacement once the return has been processed. 

♡ RETURNS:

Dinner Party accepts returns, and the return process must be initialized through our website. We require the reason for return (Damaged, Wrong Item, etc), and we will determine whether it qualifies for a prepaid shipping label. If the purpose of your return is not due to damaged items or order mixup, we do not cover return shipping fees. Please contact us to ensure we can help facilitate the return of damaged or defective items. 

♡ CANDLE SAFETY & TIPS:

At Dinner Party Candle Co, your safety matters as much as the quality of our candles. To help you enjoy your candle with peace of mind, please follow these simple guidelines based on recommended candle-use practices in Canada:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep away from anything that can catch fire.
• Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn to prevent excessive flame, soot, and flickering.
• Always burn candles on a heat-resistant, stable surface, and keep them out of reach of children and pets.
• Ensure the room is well ventilated but avoid drafts from fans, open windows, or vents. 
• Allow your candles to cool completely before moving or relighting.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• We recommend trimming your candle wick before use, and in between burns. It's advised to never leave a candle burning for longer than 4 hours at a time.
